Maksim “kyousuke” Lukin Overview
Russian esports media have already dubbed him “the second donk.” Maxim has only recently joined a full-fledged top Counter-Strike team, since the summer of 2025. Team Falcons is his first team, after the TS academy. However, Maxim has fit in quite naturally. How will the career of the young kyousuke Falcons entry develop? Will he become the “second donk” or will he go down in history as the “first kyousake”? We attempt to predict all this in the new MelBet Pick’em review.
Kyousuke Path to Esports
Maxim was born in the Russian city of Volzhsky, in the European part of Russia, in 2008. He lost his father early in life and grew up with his mother and older brother, who taught him how to play Counter-Strike. According to Maxim, he started playing relatively late for today’s kids – at age 11.
Kyousuke CSGO player is a man of great focus. He became famous online after revealing that at 15, he moved out of his mother’s house to focus on training. At the same time, he also left high school, opting for distance learning – a rather radical move for the Russian education system. However, Kyousuke says he still has a lot ahead of him – he plans to pursue higher education in the future when his workload eases.
Kyousuke Professional Career
Kyousuke CS2 player’s career follows a typical pattern for young esports athletes who emerged in the second half of the 2010s: rising through the ranks on FaceIt, gaining scouts, and developing within the academy roster.
He didn’t even play in amateur mixed teams. At tryouts and qualifiers, he was spotted by renowned Russian scout Alexey “OverDrive” Biryukov (although he later revealed that he had rejected him the first time), who secured him a spot on Team Spirit Academy. Nine months later, another Russian youth star, Danil “donk” Kryshkovets, would also join the team. Maxim would become a close friend.
In TSA, Kyousuke CS2 player will play Tier-2 and Tier-3 matches. The academy roster, for example, won gold twice at CCT Season 2 European, Series #14 and #15. He will spend a total of 1.5 years with this Russian youth team. In July 2025, the transfer took place: Maxim’s contract was sold to a Saudi Arabian club. The deal was rumored to be worth close to $2 million.
Kyousuke Current Team & Role
As of early 2026, kyousuke CS player’s move to Team Falcons is the club’s latest transfer (as per club tradition, always quite hyped) and replacement. Maxim replaces Dane Emil “Magisk” Reif – confidence in the four-time Major champion was undermined after Team Falcons’ disastrous performance at the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025, where the team finished in 20th place.
According to Maxim, he adapted quickly to the new team. The only difficulty, he says, was having to communicate entirely in English. The kyousuke Falcons team member’s first match was Intel Extreme Masters Cologne 2025, his first S-tier event (and he immediately received an EVP!). In late summer 2025, the team also took bronze at the Esports World Cup 2025, and in December, they took fifth place at Maxim’s first Major, StarLadder Budapest.
CS2 Kyousuke role is entry riffler. His tasks include first contact, quick duels, and information. His HLTV score is 86/100 in “Firepower” and 87/100 in “Opening”. Kyousuke CFG stands out from his teammates only with his high sensitivity.
