Damjan “kyxsan” Stoilkovski Overview
This talented IGL is a true crisis manager for CS teams. His first success was winning the CS:GO World Championship twice in 2021 and 2022, leading his country, North Macedonia, to the overall championship twice. We’re talking about Damjan “kyxsan” Stoilkovski, the most famous CS2 player from that country. Now playing for top clubs, kyxsan has been Team Falcons‘ IGL since 2024, confidently leading the team to victories. MelBet Pick’em explores how this talented leader came to be.
Kyxsan Path to Esports
Damjan was born in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia, in May 2000. He first encountered CS during the CS 1.6 era, in Macedonian computer clubs. kyxsan was only nine years old at the time. He quickly became hooked – a dream of becoming a professional player emerged, and thus the motivation to work on his skills. However, the future CS master also had other hobbies. He says he played volleyball professionally and was also a football fan.
Kyxsan CSGO player doesn’t like to talk much about his family and childhood. He started playing professionally at 18 or 19 years old.
Kyxsan Professional Career
Damjan’s first teams were local Macedonian tags: Madeinmacedonia, CABRONE5, Team TRTRR, QSKE, and others. He entered the professional scene in 2018, after coming of age. The first serious team for kyxsan CS player was no longer Macedonian, but the Danish-German BLUEJAYS (which disbanded in 2025). It was with this team that kyxsan entered the international arena, playing in his first A-tier tournament, Pinnacle Winter Series #2, and later Pinnacle Cup III and IV.
But it was as a Macedonian that he would gain his first fame: in 2021 and 2022, he led his country’s national team to victory at the IESF World Esports Championship twice, also winning the 2021 European Nations Cup along the way.
This success gave his career a boost: in 2023, kyxsan began playing for Apeks, a Norwegian esports team. The team began to grow rapidly, rising from the bottom of Tier 2 to the semifinals of the 2023 Paris Major within a year, where they placed 3rd or 4th. Many credit Damjan for this achievement as a talented IGL.
The next stage was more than a year of playing in HEROIC. With his new team, kyxsan CS player took second place at the 2024 Thunderpick World Championship and qualified for the Major twice, but failed to secure a prize.
Kyxsan Current Team & Role
Meanwhile, at the end of 2024, Team Falcons sheds its elite veteran roster – following RMR’s failure at the Perfect World Shanghai Major, the team is being completely rebuilt. The Saudi Arabian club buys out the core of HEROIC, and Damian begins playing under the new tag, retaining his role as IGL. At the same time, the club acquires TeSeS and NiKo.
On Team Falcons, kyxsan CS2 player bears the brunt of his role as in-game leader: he must skillfully manage star m0NESY, veteran NiKo, and other team members of varying ages and experience, all of whom have recently been united. Damian excels in this role—after the roster change, the team’s fortunes have truly improved.
Thus, 2025 became a record-breaking, prime year for Team Falcons. Although the team only took gold at one international tournament, PGL Bucharest 2025, they achieved excellent results at Intel Extreme Masters Melbourne 2025, BLAST Rivals Spring and Fall 2025, and ESL Pro League Season 22 (taking silver at all events). The team also participated in two Majors, rising to 5th-8th place at StarLadder Budapest Major 2025.
However, his personal stats leave much to be desired. Kyxsan Falcons player’s individual stats as a riffler are extremely low, even among IGLs, and he often lets his team down in duels — so don’t rush to copy kyxsan cfg.
