Jonathan ‘EliGE’ Jablonowski
EliGE is a 28-year-old American Counter-Strike Entry-Fragger of Polish descent. His decade-long career is filled with highlights from stint appearances for multiple top teams, establishing his reputation for intelligent positioning, making him a feared opponent in late-round scenarios. As an entry fragger, he is aggressive, but precise, initiating engagements and securing key opening kills in most cases.
Keep reading this MelBet Pick’em CS2 player review to find out more about this living legend, uncovering his roots, career, and records.
EliGE Path to Esports
Born in Carbondale, Pennsylvania, to Loretta Jablonowski, he grew up with three siblings: an older brother, a sister, and a twin. Growing up surrounded by video games, EliGE CS interests were mostly inspired by his brother’s play, and their early sibling rivalry was the basis of his competitive instinct. Originally, the player’s gaming passion stayed with StarCraft 2, inspired by player Ryoo “SeleCT” Kyung-hyun, leading to his alias from the Spanish “elige” meaning “select.” EliGE CSGO became a thing in 2014, and the player joined his first official team in August 2014, marking the start of EliGE CS professional career.
EliGE Professional Career
Jonathan’s early professional years were marked by various stints for smaller CS2 teams, serving as formative experiences. He joined his first official team, Team JusTus, in August 2014, staying till November of the same year before departing to SapphireKelownaDotCom in December 2014, departing again in January 2015. He immediately joined eLevate’s roster after leaving SapphireKelownaDotCom in January 2015 and played till March 2015.
Johnathan eventually got signed to Team Liquid in March 2015, winning numerous titles over 8 years before eventually departing to Complexity Gaming in June 2023. This legend played on Complexity’s roster until January 2025, joining the FaZe immediately after. EliGE CS2 skills were later traded back to Team Liquid in September 2025 in exchange for Twistzz, despite the 2023 split due to restructuring for European talent.
EliGE Current Team & Role
The world was first introduced to EliGE CS2 prowess at Liquid, and with the EliGE Liquid return, the team’s Counter-Strike performance has shown a clear upward trend after several difficult years. The first EliGE CS2 run with Team Liquid birthed the lineup’s peak moment in 2019. Team Liquid won four tier 1 events rapidly during this period, forcing the ESL to amend the Grand Slam format due to its rapid pace. EliGE cfg was added back to Team Liquid’s servers on September 25, 2025, and the player returned to his role as entry Fragger, pairing his aggressive rifling with this role for optimal results.
EliGE Records & Awards
Jonathan is one of the most consistently recognized CS2 players, with multiple HLTV Top 20 listings to prove it. Jonathan contributed to Team Liquid’s wins at Intel Grand Slam Season 2, ESL Pro League Season 9 Finals, and multiple S-tier victories like IEM Sydney 2019 and ESL One: Cologne 2019. He holds four HLTV MVPs, and his total earnings currently exceed $1.1 million from 185 tournaments.
Currently, his 2026 season is expected to be a homecoming redemption arc, considering that he is now the veteran anchor of a roster designed to return North America to the top of the world rankings. So far, Liquid showed flashes of brilliance at the BLAST Bounty Winter, finishing 5th-8th after a tough loss to Team Falcons and EliGE has been the standout performer, often leading the server in ADR.
