Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo Overview

“The Professor,” “Godfather,” “Bad FalleN”… The number of nicknames fans have given this, quite literally, legendary player is as long as his career. Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo has been on the professional scene for 21 years now, and it looks like he’s showing no signs of slowing down. Having started playing CS 1.6, he now leads the FURIA CS2 roster, uniquely combining the roles of IGL and AWPer. MelBet Pick’em new review tells the story of this man who has been playing CS almost from the very beginning.

FalleN Path to Esports

Gabriel Toledo was born on May 30, 1991, in the small Brazilian town of Itararé. The future FalleN CS player began playing the iconic shooter in 2003, at the age of 12. As often happens, Gabriel was introduced to the game by his older brother. This was the dawn of Counter-Strike — the game itself had only been released three years earlier!

Gabriel had no problem with computers — his family owned a computer store, and he helped his parents build computers from a young age. His other childhood hobbies included soccer and other games, such as Dota and StarCraft, but it was CS that ultimately triumphed.

FalleN Professional Career

It’s hard to remember the list of all the teams FalleN CS player has ever played for. Over a 20-plus-year career, he’s been a member of more than twenty-five clubs! The first of these, of course, is unknown: Crashers. FalleN started playing there in 2005, at just 13 years old – back in the CS 1.6 era.

Toledo qualified for his first international tournament in 2009, at the age of 18. It was the 2009 World Cyber Games. Gabriel’s career peaked between 2015 and 2018. The teams he played for achieved their greatest success there, and he deservedly earned numerous titles.

In 2015, FalleN qualified for his first Major with the Brazilian team Keyd Stars. And then there was the big break – 2016 brought two Major gold medals, at MLG Columbus 2016 (Luminosity Gaming) and ESL One Cologne 2016 (SK Gaming)! It was these two years with SK that brought It was his two years with SK that brought FalleN the most trophies. Later, Toledo would also take bronze at three Majors, along with SK and MIBR, in 2018 and 2019.

FalleN Current Team & Role

After FalleN left MIBR at the end of 2020, it seemed his golden age was over. But it didn’t work out that way: after trying out for top CS2 teams like Team Liquid and Imperial, FalleN found a place in FURIA in the summer of 2023.

FalleN CS2 player incredible value isn’t in his reaction time, which is certainly much better in young players. It’s in his mentoring talent and incredible planning skills. FalleN is renowned for his intelligent play and his incredible ability to read his opponents—and it’s no wonder he’s the IGL.

But FalleN CS2 player is still a dangerous player on the map: he often gets into a good mood and plays aggressively, catching opponents out at unexpected moments thanks to his experience. FalleN CFG are quite old-school: a narrow field of view and classic mid-to-low sensitivity. Ultimately, in over two years at the helm of FURIA, Toledo led the team to victories at FISSURE Playground #2, IEM Chengdu 2025, and BLAST Rivals Fall 2025.

FalleN Records & Award

Over the years of playing, FalleN FURIA member has earned MVP medals four times: in 2016, 2017 (twice), and 2018. However, he didn’t win the MVP title at the Majors, earning only three MVP awards. However, he did finish in the HLTV top 20 twice, in 2016 and 2017. In 2016, only teammate coldzera surpassed him among all CS2 players.
